One of those picture which just didn't wanted to find an end XD I started to work on this like a month ago but it always came something into my way (like honestly, Artblock, health issues, school stress ...  the slowly growing void in my tea bunker... So I hope you like it too ^^

And for those who might be interested in getting a piece like this:
Your wishlistA wishlist, where YOU can add things, that you want me to draw - and you don't need to pay anything. (though I don't mind if you give me smth in return XD)
Buuuut there's the risk that you never gonna have what you asked for here.
Comment with a description of the picture you imagine or just post a reference sheet of your character! You can also ask me for some Fanart of games/movies/comics or to do a Tutorial or a livestream. Just write what comes into your mind first c:
But please be aware that you might not get these things and I only look at this journal if I feel like to do so ;'D
(Only canines/cats or simliar species)

btw I won't reply to any of the comments unless it's an question to this journal
*edit I'll only do them for fun and if I feel like to do them. If I don't pick yours I simply wasn't in the mood to do so, but please don't be angry or sad if I haven't drawn your wishlist picture yet. All of your characters and

First off, this piece is truly gorgeous. Your background and shading really tie the drawing together and makes the character look as though he really is in the scene instead of being cut out and pasted onto a picture.

I'm going to start by addressing the best points before moving on to the negatives.

The first thing that stands out when I take a good look at this piece is how much detail you managed to fit into the background without detracting attention from the main subject. This can be very difficult to pull off, but you've executed it flawlessly.

Secondly, your shading technique is really pleasing to look at and really adds so much depth to the piece. There is a clear light source angle and the lighting even hints at what time of day the scene takes place during.

Shading and backgrounds always seem to be your strongest areas.

Next, we have the effects. The blood (at least, I'm assuming it's blood) looks really convincing for the most part, but in reality, it'd be quite a bit darker, especially the smears on the ground (think multiply layer mode). Another thing that stands out is a lack of any kind of "trickle", or even a hint that blood had dripped down at all, making the wounds look more like markings. Of course, all of this could have been intentional, as I don't know the story behind this. Also, you may have chosen to make these changes for composition purposes. Whatever your intent, it's not a big deal. ^^

One thing that does stand out in a less appealing way is how the perspective is off. Something about the angle of the body and the angle of the background (most notably the ground directly under the wolf), just gives the impression that the wolf is incredibly long, or has very short legs. For the angle the wolf is in to work, the background perspective would need to be raised slightly. In addition, the visible hind leg seems a bit too short and appears a tiny bit twisted out of shape. The ears also seem a tad lop-sided. Still, this position is incredibly difficult to pull off, and I highly doubt I could capture it as well as you have here, so still, wonderful work!
